Background    

 

Anna is a Chartered Surveyor, and qualified Project Manager. Anna starting her career as a Valuations and Sales Surveyor in Yorkshire. At the beginning of the 1980s Anna transferred her skills to residential property management in the Capital.

 

In the 1990s Anna applied her property expertise to the housing association sector, project managing major residential and mixed use developments in London. Her appointment as Director of Project Management in 1995 reflects her success in this area.

 

Later, Anna was offered the opportunity to become New Business Director for a major Housing Association Group in London, and was responsible both for location and assessment of opportunities, as well the negotiation of acquisitions. This position also provided the opportunity to hone financial modelling and viability assessment skills.

 

Reporting to the Board, Anna’s role extended to strategic involvement in the management of the Housing Group and she commonly represented the company to external clients, including local authorities, and the Housing Corporation. This offered the ideal opportunity to develop a wide range of contacts in both public and private sector settings.

 

Relevant Experience

 

Anna has led the delivery of big ticket viability assessments for both large housing and mixed use schemes to secure approvals and funding. Anna is well placed to offer invaluable experience in relation to the preparation of viability assessments on behalf of the developer, for negotiation with the GLA and/or Local Authorities.
