Vauxhall Cross Island

 

Our client, Kylun’s proposals are for two elegant towers - one of 41 storeys and the other 31 storeys. The scheme is designed to deliver 291 homes and 58 affordable homes along with a hotel and 25,833 sq. ft. of offices.

 

Affordable Housing Solutions was appointed to negotiate agreement with Lambeth Council in relation to the on-site affordable housing proposals. Following consideration of our case, the Borough agreed with us that their policy 40 per cent affordable housing provision was not a viable target in this instance.

Consequently, the Council agreed 17 % on-site affordable housing.

 

In addition, 160,000 sq. ft. of commercial space will be provided in a range of unit sizes, including retail and leisure space and subsidised work spaces for local businesses. A new hotel, will also offer a top floor ‘Skybar’ open to the public, together with cafes, restaurants and a mix of retail units on the ground floor.
