In the Spring of 2007 HDG Mansur Capital Group announced the commencement of construction for the new £255m mixed use development in Bristol City CentreThe mixed use scheme will create a vibrant and sustainable new community in Bristol and invigorate the prominent 2.3HA waterside site with 398 new apartments, over 400,000 sq ft of offices and 87,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.Affordable Housing Solutions were retained at the commencement of the planning process in order to deliver a sustainable affordable housing outcome.The off-site affordable housing elders scheme promoted by ourselves provides the City with a much needed valuable resource for the future.

URMSTON TOWN CENTRE MANCHESTER

Work will begin in Autumn of 2007 on the major £43m transformation of the Urmston Town Centre.The development will feature the latest in modern urban living with approximately 140 new apartments included within the scheme. These will sit above a larger and improved public square surrounded by restaurants and cafes.Affordable Housing Solutions delivered a 10% affordable housing component comprising discounted sale units, in this major town centre development for our client, ASK Development Ltd.Trafford’s Planning Development Control Committee voted unanimously to approve the scheme, accepting our position that a 30% affordable housing target was not achievable within the cost and value parameters of the project.
